Here Comes The Sun
I wasn't needed at the wildlife rescue this morning; really I should've gone home and done some work after I dropped Sarah off there but the sun was glinting pink on the snow over the tops so I drove up there instead.
This is the "Framing The Landscape" metal frame at Wessenden Head ("many people look but only a few see"). Do look large to see it properly. It was bitterly cold and the snow was up to the top of my boots in places - and it was icy - I had a rather spectacular fall on my backside and whacked my head. I am sure I looked very elegant but fortunately there was nobody around. By the time I had burnt out my eyes taking sunbursts it was time to collect Sarah so it was a morning well spent.
I will put in a couple of extras, including one framing the moon as it set, one of the beautiful blue water of the next reservoir down the valley, and one showing the beautiful bleakness of the road.
Back home to fill in an HMRC PAYE audit questionnaire. Loving it.
