A Chilly Day in Hoy

Went round to Stromness today to give my mother a boost up.  Later the Current Mrs Creel treated me to a meal at Julia’s; the snowy conditions have kept folk in and no-one was present in the cafe.

The sky has cleared and sitting typing this I can see Morven which is just inland from Dunbeath, about 50 miles away.

I have earned a weekend pass by booking two holidays – I just need to arrange the logistics now.

There is no ceilidh at Kinbrace tonight.
