Between a rock and a hard place.

A glorious start to the day, although we had a very sharp frost. We waited for the frost to thaw, and then went out for a drive to Southerndown. We had a walk down to the beach, although I was glad to get back in the car, as my hands were frozen. On the way back, we had a look to see if the Coffi Pig was in Ogmore-by-sea, but no luck, so we came home. We had a coffee and a slice of Welsh Rarebit which went down a treat. Just had a surprise visit from our g/daughter with the good news that she will be starting her new job on February 4th. She  handed in her notice today, at Yankee Candle, where she has worked part time for the last few years. Onwards  & upwards now Katie, and the start of a new, and I hope an exciting chapter in her life.
