A short afternoon walk up through White Moss Woods and along Loughrigg Terrace. Grasmere was in the shade but more impressive was this view across Rydal Water with Nab Scar on the left.. 

The camera struggled (or perhaps it was user incompetence) to cope with the light today. 

Not so many years ago I could have done this walk at this time of year and see 3 or 4 people. I lost count today.
