Bonnie Berries

It's been a very bright but bitterly cold day. The early morning frost didn't thaw at all and there is still some of yesterday's snow lying on the earth and on the grass.

Walking down the road to the bus stop this morning I spotted these bright red Skimmia berries.

I met L in town for coffee before I headed to the church where I was on lunches for those who come to the short mid week service and want more than just a cuppa.
