Hands

This is the hand of a friend who is a professional bass player (extremely good) and in another life a former colleague. These are titanium nails taken out of his hand for pinning a dislocated little finger. It’s the hand of his bowing arm thankfully, but looks very painful. Hands are so precious for anybody but especially so for a professional string player.
