Ice

It was -2 when I left the house this morning, a light dusting of snow overnight, and icy underneath. The black ice continued all day near work. We had blue sky, but cold, and it was easy to get caught out by the patches of ice. 

I am managing to keep up the 5000 steps a day. This was taken at lunchtime - it is the ice along the top of the fence near work. 

One of the things that has struck me this January, from my photography - beauty isn't what you see - its what you are prepared to look for.
