Bust?
WEDNESDAY
I listened to Today on Radio 4 whilst driving into work this morning. A fund manager was going apopolectic about the way the scale of debt has been covered up in collapse of the Patisserie Valerie chain.
It was with some relief to find that the Huddersfield store was still trading and not one of the 71 stores that closed overnight. It's one of the few remaining quality stores in the town centre.
The staff are always polite and the cakes delicious. Fingers crossed that it will survive.
Not much of a cover up at the neighbouring store.
