Blocked off....

Our road was closed yesterday due to burst water pipes... we think anyway. When I walked past it was gushing from everywhere, big time, and the tarmac had opened up in lots of places. Traffic lights and diversions had been the order of the day.

This morning D took a walk to see how things were going. The men have been working hard and there is much less disruption. D has given me today's picture.

Meanwhile, I have remained indoors all day. We had a call in the early hours of the morning. J & A were on their way to hospital and excited about meeting their beautiful little person today! It's 8.30pm and they and we are still waiting.....but all is well and that is what really matters. 

Meanwhile  #2, we blitzed two big kitchen drawers and have reduced the contents by tonnes! The day reminded me of those bonus days when school was closed due to heavy snow and you could do something totally spontaneous! That's the teachers I mean.  Good result too. 

No snow here though. Just a very, very light smattering first thing.
