Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough was built in a boom time and the town increased its population from a few tens to thousands in the early eighteen hundreds to the mid nineteen hundreds. This means a lot of it was built round about the art nouveau period. It has fabulous buildings with amazing stained glass.
