Black-capped Chickadee

This was taken through my living room window this morning.  Chickadees are our most frequent visitors but they rarely stay still long enough for a photo.  This one looked like s/he was meditating. :-)  Many thanks to Cailleach for hosting Wild Wednesdays!

I had a wonderful lunch and great conversation today with my former sister-in-law, Fran.  She and my brother married in their teens (more than 50 years ago) and it didn't last very long but she still feels like family to me.  She lives in Chaing Mai, Thailand and is in town visiting her daughter.

I am grateful that we had time for a visit before she returns home this weekend! :-))
