feed the birds

Three or four times a day I place bird seed on the block of wood. I feed the birds. And I inadvertently feed three squirrels, one grey and two black. Our cat sits beside the garbage cans watching and waiting. One day somebody is gonna get hurt real bad under the apple tree.
