The [House] is aliiiive, with the Sound of Music

Even though this movie is over 50 years old, I will never refuse to watch it. I see the effect it has on my mom - transporting her to her childhood as she sings along with a giant smile on her face. The sound track is so amazing -- I'm pretty sure my mom "making" us watch this as much as she did as children, played a huge role in why we love music so much. And hell, when I was finally old enough to understand what the plot was actually about, it made it a thousand times better.

Plus it helps that it never fails to get the entire family to have some bonding time.
