Winter Golf

Today, Sam and his Dad (me) played in the last match of our Winter League at Buckingham. It was cold. Sub-zero and seriously brass monkeys when we got to the course but, before long, we were 5 down and getting put to the sword; we didn't notice the weather.

We fought back to one down but, exhausted, couldn't sustain the improvement, and finished up losing the 17th and coming second.

However, after a while, the sun shone strongly, the company was good, the golf was good (in parts) and we enjoyed a stroll in the park.
Isn't that what life is for?
