Over the Bridge to ....

Last day in Hong Kong. It's been a busy time and very crowded. We've enjoyed all that we have seen and done but are ready to move on.

We left our luggage at the hotel to collect later and took the bus into the centre. We then went by Star ferry over to the mainland and walked around the harbour area. Some interesting structures and shapes. I decided to have a black and white day (although colour is recorded in the RAW files) and the strong sun gave plenty of contrasts. (Extra) Coming out of the park there was an interesting image painted on the steps so it was just a matter of catching someone in the right place at the right time.

We managed a delicious lunch of pakistani food before a sprint back to the hotel for the airport transfer.  All went well with the flight to Kuala Lumpur, although half an hour late taking off (airport congestion rather than airline fault), and are now in our rather nice hotel. Two nights here and we are as yet undecided on the rest of the week. Watch this space.
