Rauðhólar

The sun came out today, so for the four and a half hours that the sun is up this time of the year, we actually saw it and it was glorious. We drove through Heiðmörk in search of horses to photograph, but there were only four out and the owner were there with them, so we didn't want to disturb them. The road was like an ice paving, but we had no incidents. This is the view over the destroyed artificial crates called Rauðhólar. It was stunning in reality and the picture came out decent. The shadows are from the forest behind me and the sun hanging just above the horizon.

After the trip to Heiðmörk we took a walk down to the river and the swan family was back, probably because the ice had a tiny hole in the ice, where they can swim.
