we are still attempting hostage negotiations

I got to see prints of portrait pictures I took. She initially had thought she'd print one but she couldn't choose one, she chose many. It was neat to see prints. The Helios bokeh is intense. You love it or you hate it. She loved them, she had fun, I had fun, she loved the pictures of her daughter. She is not used to seeing her daughter dark and mysterious and solemn and it was intriguing for her to see her that way. 

I am flying off tomorrow to Kosovo. It looks like the weather will be bearable. It will be cold but it is winter. I get to pack in the morning and head off to the airport in the afternoon. I'll leave extra time just in case. I wondered if I should bring canned goods so they could be confiscated and someone could eat them. 

I've now seen multiple people at my company with the same incredible headphones I have. I guess word is spreading about how effective they are at noise cancellation. I'll take them on the flight with me. 

This duck is, like most of them, positioned on the top of a cubicle wall. I thought it would be good to stand on a chair and take a picture looking down at her eyes.
