Variety is the spice of life!!

The first visit of the day was to a local community hospital for B to have a follow up appointment. He had an investigation last summer and the hospital has moved this f/u appointment 3 times....but as we knew that all was well, we weren’t too fussed. 4 minutes in and out .....Magic!!!!

As a treat we called into a recommended cafe on the way home for lunch......yummy!!

R called in on the way home from work as it’s her birthday today. We had tea but no cake for her as she was already caked out!!!! She headed off to celebrate with friends.

We headed into Lincoln to the Uni for a special lecture given by Suzie Imber, from the University of Leicester. It was brilliant, she is such an inspiring speaker. She was the winner of the 2017 BBC 2 television programme Astronauts, do you have what it takes? If you google her name there is lots of info and video clips. Well worth a check :0)

The Institute of Physics provided some fun activities for the younger members of the audience. This drew a very interested audience of adults, who looked as though they would be happy to get down on the floor, if it was possible!!!

Teaching/learning is a completely different ball game these days. Not like the boring one way interaction I experienced as a child!!!
