The Liberation Of Auschwitz January 27 , 1945

by the Soviets who found at least 7000 left to die whilst others had been driven out on the March of Death ..All around Theodor Heuss Platz were plain white banners with facts & dates..Each year school children gather .There was a guitar , music and a very special feeling.The dead of Auschwitz , indeed all camps are remembered .My translation of the banner they had as stage back drop may help.Also fitting that today was freezing cold.yet bitter as it was we have access to food and good warm clothing. Prisoners did not .The extra names all concentration camps & Auschwitz appears in thick black .. In that camp alone 1.1million  were murdered or died due to conditions. 
Should we continue with wars , weapons for profit as well as death we have learned nothing from the horror that was found .
