Y is for....

...Yucca and Yellow.  The electrician was due at one to look at our bathroom fan heater that is not working so we nipped out for a morning coffee at Nero prior to him arriving.  As it was he was here slightly early but a neighbour sidelined him and kept him talking. He declared the fan heater deceased and promised to come back next week to fit another.  So we settled down to lunch and a bit of tennis, men's second semi-final, a bit lot one-sided.

As we were walking back from Stratford I was looking for, and found a couple of examples of  Yucca plant, this one in a front garden was the most impressive. Later we went for a short walk to have a look at the snowdrops in Shottery, very lovely, but wrong colour (I still took some pics!).

In the garden we have a pot of polyanthus that have been in flower since November, they are a lovely yellow colour, a close contender for today's pic.
