Hellebore

What a dramatic change in the weather ..... no sign of frost, black ice, blue sky or sunshine .... the only plus point was the rise in temperature but it was just so dull :-((

My pink hellebores are still in bud so I had to poke my camera through railings and lean over a nearby garden wall to photograph this flower that was nestled in a sheltered spot.

Booked my summer holiday this afternoon :-)) E and I are off to Croatia. We are staying in the tiny town of Trogir, about 15 minutes from Split ..... as we don't go till August it's a bit early to get excited!
