Hello Friday!

I have looked forward to this glass of wine all week afternoon...

Meanwhile I reviewed a journal article, several conference abstracts, and some draft work of a Masters student. Then I cleared my email to inbox zero - yay!

I also caught up by phone with an external colleague who has recently been treated for breast cancer (just as I was last year), and one of the recipients of my letter-writing campaign from earlier in the week also gave me a ring to say that he and his wife will be in Edinburgh in July :-)
