Bothy Culture

An emergency call out for Ziberoonie and mesel’ today as we had to carry out emergency roof repairs in Hoy.  Inevitably the Project Manger was the Current Mrs Creel.  We did not too b ad but got caught out by a haily shooer prior to completion.

In the evening an Ian MacLeod 13 yr old Longmorn, a life time first Aberfeldy, a magnificent Aberlour A’bunadh and a totally unwelcome Highland park eased us into the evening.  Aye, you’re a lang time deid.  We also took the opportunity to get an update on island life.  If you’ve never been on an island I don’t think you can appreciate how important this is.

Got the last boat back – into  Stromness at 10.30.
