Hard hats

Started the day touring a nearly complete renovation we’ve been doing...great spaces and perfect for the students who’ll be in there soon. Didn’t miss the irony of how smoothly and quickly this has been done in comparison to how much trouble I’m having with my home improvements! I’d have liked to move a few of the trades straight to my flat before they go to their next job!
Office time most of the rest of the day although lunch with CR to think how to handle a knotty problem with some people. Hot dogs and laughter helped see a way through,
Another building planning meeting later....we’re close to finalising the start on site of the main work at the Old Royal Infirmary. Gulp!
Met V and we had our traditional fish and chips supper before the theatre. This time it was Touching the Void at the Lyceum. Absolutely brilliant. We spent the evening in the Peruvian mountains and glaciers and in a nearly dying man’s mind, amazing how the story was adapted and staged.
