A Winter's Tale
Evening all,
The Richardsons, i think, work better when acting on impulse.
Today for example, i spent ages trimming and chopping the christmas tree that we bought from B+Q a couple of days ago to get it to fit in the house.
We got it in the house, put it up, stepped back to admire it, and all went
" well, no its a bit crap isn't it.."
It did look a soulless, scrawny callow little beastie, tall, thin and malnourished - a little like me actually.
So we made an uncharacteristic executive decision and leapt in the car and drove to a local garden centre, where we were fortunate enough to be able to go into the field where the Christmas trees were being grown, and actually met the man who had been planting and tending them for the last 15 years.
We got to pick out a tree, he cut it down for us and we headed home feeling imbued with a big dollop of christmas spirit which we didn't have before!
night all.
