I saw the Tardis and a Dalek

...on the way to the post office.

And a wooden house, a wishing well, a fort, a lighthouse over a bridge, Postman Pat 1 and 2 mailvan, Scooby Doo's van(?), and a Vardo...

It was my understanding, as a child, that Vardo's were burnt after the occupant died. There were still a couple left on Sugar Loaf Hill, but most were posh caravans with amazing polished glassware inside. I had a few run ins with the gypsy children, but I always came out a winner in the end...I never lose my battles...
