on my way out at Aldi i saw a dying looking amaryllus....after putting my shopping in the car i went back and bought it for £2.59.....

at home i put it in a bucket of water for a long time....then potted it.....i was rewarded with one bud beginning to open....there are 3 more buds the big one visible and behind that two tiny buds ....i wonder if they will bloom at all...

i am stunned by the quality of the photo....took it at stagelight...straight from my phone to blip...

thanks to blipfriend maidinwales50 i had a delicious lunch of dirty potatoes....i always wondered if they would be soggy.....but she assured me they are very nice....and she was right...so thank you maidinwales....:):)
