Apothecary7's day off.
We had low water pressure in the house this morning. We reported to Scottish Water. Others had too. Some people had no water we were told. Fixed by early afternoon.
Fergus and I went for a walk out to the shipyard after lunch and during the dry spell. Very high tide. The beacon on the Doirlinn was deep in the sea with the high point on the Doirlinn submerged more than I have ever seen.

The BBC Radio 3 podcast Sound of Cinema.
1. Matthew Sweet met the composer of First Man and La La Land, Justin Hurwitz, who has built an enviable reputation in Hollywood and two Academy Awards from just four films. Matthew looked at his career to date, his exclusive working relationship with director Damien Chazelle, his love of the film musical, and he discusses his four films - 'Guy and Madeline On A Park Bench', 'Whiplash', 'La La Land', and 'First Man'.
2. Double Acts. Matthew Sweet took his cue from the newly released 'Stan and Ollie', scored by Rolfe Kent, for a look at music for films featuring notable "double acts", not least from the new Laurel and Hardy inspired film itself.
Featured films included 'The Odd Couple', 'Gunfight At OK Corral', 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid', 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes', 'Mr and Mrs Smith', 'To Have And Have Not', 'Cleopatra', 'Guess Who's Coming To Dinner', '21 Jump Street', 'Men In Black', 'Silver Streak', 'Night At The Museum', 'Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein', 'The Intelligence Men', 'Coraline', 'Shaun Of The Dead' and the Classic Score of the week is Laurel and Hardy's 'Way Out West'.
