Downing Point

A dreich walk this morning which got pretty blowy when we walked out on to the point. It's one of my favourite spots though, you wouldn't think you were only 100 yards or so from the houses of Dalgety Bay! There are remnants of wartime gun emplacements here, the Forth coast is dotted with them but I don't think they were ever needed. This view is looking towards the terminal at Braefoot, where tankers collect liquid gas piped down from Moss Morran. Most romantically, Downing Point is where my younger daughter's boyfriend proposed :)
