Signatures make it more special!

Kaylee and I hung out at the annual Craft Fair at the Mercer Community Center today. We were there for Mercer Old Home Days. Seated next to us was Barbara Winslow and Francis Fenton signing their new children's book.

Fancy and Francis was written for and about Francis and his life here in Mercer. A feel-good story about his involvement in the community.

I was thrilled to get my signed copy, as the kids have taken part in his apple demonstrations at the school, and we enjoy getting our apples from his orchard. At 97 years old, this is just another chapter in his book of life.
