Grassendale, Cressington, Greenbank, Mossley Hill, there’s  something in a name.

This is St Mary’s Grassendale, all red sandstone, moss and lichen.  Striking in the misty afternoon. I love this place.

I took Kylie down to the river where the Mersey was high, brown and slapping itself against its boundaries.

Now back to Formby, where there is much to be done. I’ll be a few days extra here. In the green and red places.
