Le this be a lesson!

At frequent intervals, in fact - "many a time and oft in the Rialto." I can be heard YELLING!
"Ask us while we're still here, don't wonder after we're gone!"
and
"Annotate your snaps."
NEITHER of which did we do, as a family. Now we're suffering the consequencies.
Jerra rolled up the other day with a shoe-box packed with old photos; some (very few) I'm responsible for, maybe him too.
The VAST majority we have absolutely NO idea who/where/why/what they are or represent.
Mostly this type of thing, but some "Holiday snaps".
There are close to 3 doz like these:-
Heavily matriarchal: 18 ladies, 4 couples, 3 babies, 3 groups (family), 2 men and 2 locations.
Of the "Snaps" there are a few we can guess at and many more we haven't much clue about.
It's now 32 years since the last person we could have asked shuffled off this mortal coil.

I am GUESSING, from the fact that the photographers are all/mostly East/North Cumberland and NOT West, they're like as not Mam's side rather than Dad's, but that's not carved in stone either.
