Bye Bye Meadowbank

The old Meadowbank is nearly gone. 

Apparently the plan is to build a new 'more versatile, multipurpose, compact stadium and sports facility'. So there is plenty room for that handy block of flats they want to build. The plans all look 'compact and bijou'. Which translates as smaller and meaner. 

Change is necessary. And yes there must be a percentage in it for the investors, but surely we can build for the future too. 

Shame really.
