Finally, a Golden Camera!
It has been quite a year and I have truly enjoyed sharing it on blip. Thank you, James for inspiring me to start blipping and for teaching me about photography. Thank you to Joe for creating such a wonderful site. Thank you to my subscribers and to anyone who has commented. What a wonderful community of people.
This is the Muscoot Reservoir. I pass by it many times each week. I have been particularly mesmerized by it this winter, as the surface is constantly changing - ice covered snow, patchy ice, ice floes, ice fishermen. In this picture, there is ice in the foreground, water in the middle, and more ice in the background. The upper black horizontal line is the shore. The other tapering horizontal black line is the reflection of the shore in water. It tapers because of the ice. I had to trek past a no trespassing sign to get this picture & quickly realized I was not dressed well for this hike. It only took an hour for my fingers to thaw once I arrived home.
