Blue Monday

A nice sunny day, a shame it was spent at work!

We had them build the Eiffel Tower out of marshmallows and dry spaghetti this afternoon,as part of a project on France. We put some french accordion music on and let them go! It was really interesting to see whether they could work together or not, and although we said no eating, there were so many sneaky lickings of hands and also the spaghetti! A nice creative buzz, which is so often lacking in the current curriculum. We need to do more of this!
