Making a splash

This morning the 1st time for a few weeks a trip bird watching with my mates. We headed off to the coast on what was a cold windy day. We did manage to see a few good birds but all to distant to get any shots. This shot shows one of my mates walking out on to the salt marshes in search of shore larks a lovely little winter visitor to these parts As you can see the sea was rather rough with some quite big waves making a splash behind him. Despite the cold it was an enjoyable day and great to catch up with them all. Back home for a relaxing evening and a film and getting warm.
