You're not meant to have favourites but...

Bertha is my favourite of my flock of hens. I've missed her lately as she's been broody - instead of being my constant shadow, she's been sitting on anything you could remotely view as a nest. I'm contemplating getting her fertile eggs. Feel sorry for my hens always giving eggs but never able to hatch any.

So only a day in and I've broken the blipping rules already! Ran out and took a quick pic enticing Bertha off her nest with lettuce hastily pulled out of the pallet bed.
