What's in my name - origins

I started blipping in 2011.  A friend had joined and I thought it would be a good way to improve my photography.  Little by little I became hooked. It is now more of a diary or daily journal for me to record what I have been doing in the day.  It has resolved many a family dispute on where Christmas was held and I like to look back occasionally and re-live trips and so on.   

I think I called my journal something else in early days but some time ago changed it to Newcastle Downunder.  Newcastle or Newie is where I live and downunder to distinguish it from the Northern and original version.  I have made a little Newie world for my blip today.  We Southern hemisphere people always think we are on the right or upper side of the world (if you know what I mean).  Jensphotos is really just a shortened Jenny and photos, it would have worked better if I could have used an apostrophe but there you are.
