First Crocus

A trip to Addenbrookes again this morning, for my husband and afterwards we decided to go to Scotsdales for lunch. Their menu did not appeal to either of us, so my husband bought a new pair of Wellington boots and we went to Saffron Walden to collect our prescriptions.
 
It was very cold although the sun was shining for a lot of the day. The temperature at noon was four degrees Celsius. 

Update: Looking back over my previous blips as I always do after posting the current one I can see that I also blipped a purple crocus on this day in 2018. Like last year, there are no signs of my Winter Aconites.
