Mono Monday 262 :: MM221 :: Origins

To read about the origins of my Blipname etc you'll need to venture back to the original earlier time when I revealed it. My image gives a slight clue to where it comes from. I personally don't come from there, just the name.

How I came to be on Blip is the result of a random comment by the then chairman of my photographic society after our summer garden party. 'I need to get my Blip' he said as we headed for our cars. 'Blip?' I replied. The rest is history and my very first Blip had already been snapped during the gathering.

A Footnote: Since my adventures on The Skeena it has been stripped of it's name by ViaRail, no doubt removing any sense of affection for a line that is losing money for them. Some fear the route will be axed. Maybe I should change my name to No.5 or No.6 as it is referred by now. But I'm not a number, I'm a free man, so it was once said... ;o)
