HB PB!

Happy Birthday to my dad who turns 72 today. Unlike a lot of folk his age, he still works 3 days a week, catching a bus for the 40 minute ride into Cambridge where he works in the menswear department of John Lewis. I can’t imagine him giving up his work for a life of leisure, he’s very good at what he does.

Mum, dad and I had a lovely lunch in The Dog and Duck to celebrate.

The children have been off today. Poppy went into town with her friend while Alfie seems to have spent most of the day reclining on his bed.
