The day after
A day of doing actual day off things. Washing, tax return, hanging wet kit, easy swimming, thinking, not thinking, breathing. The weekends assessment was as good an asessment as I've done. Mostly because it was real.
Real people in a real environment working out real situations with the assessors staying in the background enough that it felt like the "just another day enjoying helping people enjoy paddling" I'd been convincing myself it was.
It wasn't easy (I'm glad of that) but it was good and I'm thrilled to have passed.
More than that, even though this is 'the top' I've come out with things to learn, develop and work on. It's just the start of the top, wherever the top is.
