Back Garden

The day was perfect and the great tips promised some of the best snow imaginable. So you can imagine that sending the boys off with wishes of "bon ski" was an excruciatingly difficult task to act out. And whilst I limped over to the chalet to embark on an afternoon of washing clothes that were covered in mould from a flood, I just about managed to smile "bonjours" at passing mountain clad passers by, either rosy faced and covered in powder or impeccably prepared for their first ascent of the season, I couldn't help dipping my head with sporadic woeful sighs wondering if I'm even going to be able to get up there - in my limpardly state, at any point this winter.

All of the work team have arrived now + there's a good feeling in the air; we wiggled our way along to the season launcher party + began excited getting-to-know-you exchanges in an attempt to figure each other out.

These trees were standing so triumphantly in our back garden, they're quite something don't you think.
