The amaryllis has opened this morning, quite exciting, (a bulb I saved has thrown up new leaves but no new flower stem).
An early start, taking three bags of craft things into the school I used to teach at. Then on to do a bit of shopping. Back home and took another bag to the clothing bank.
After lunch I took a bag of old electricals into Currys for recycling, (they do WEEE, easier than taking it to the tip). From there I walked on to visit friends for a cuppa and chat, as the forecast says snow and I may not be so eager to walk out then.
I ate up yesterdays soup for dinner. Selena made fresh soup for her and Harry.
