Middlebere Farm , Arne

Despite suffering with a painful back, I went on the Bird Walk today as it was a place we hadn’t visited and it was well worth it . We saw our first crane - only one but it hadn’t been seen in the daylight at this place before . A magnificent bird - so big but sadly I can’t share a photo of it as I didn’t have a long lens with me .
Middlebere is a great bird watching spot as there were also lots of lapwings and avocets . There was also a graceful curlew . The weather made it special too.
In other news the bathroom is coming on but still not finished . I can’t wait now - hopefully Friday .
