A Solid Foundation Of Friendship

It is always a joy to visit Jyoto School, but this year was extra special because it marked the thirtieth anniversary of the annual exchange between the Year Four classes of our two schools. The children completed the special 30th anniversary artwork which they began when the Jyoto School children visited our school in December and, as well as having fun making and eating mochi, we also enjoyed two special 30th anniversary ceremonies with a number of auspicious guest speakers. 

Today's blip is a photo of our distinguished ex Head Teacher, Mr. George Gibbons, who was one half of the team responsible for founding the exchange programme thirty years ago. I am sure, as many speakers wished, that this friendship will last forever.
