Superman Sam

Gosh, it’s been a little while since I’ve blipped but thankfully, for you, you’ve been spared my pictures of dinners and / or jigsaw puzzles.

Today I actually got my proper camera out to take this picture of our newest volunteer, Sam. It’s been so fun to get to know Sam over the past few weeks and I know he’s going to be a real asset to Shrewsbury Youth for Christ. He and his wife, Rachael, have been in Shrewsbury for about 6 months. The first time I met Rachael we played croquet together with a bunch of Malaysians.

Now the nervous wait to see who else is going to be joining Sam on our team. Application deadline for our new Youth Worker is Friday.

In other news, I bought a few jigsaws for mum and now I’m addicted.
