Save Leith Walk

Catching the bus to work. An ugly giant brown soulless block is slated to replace some nice low rise twenties sandstone former station buildings. There’s a big campaign to save them and the small independent businesses that operate out of them. But looks like we’ll get more of the same further up the Walk. Ugly, far too big, cheap brown “stone” veneer, an atom thick with Starbucks and Sainsbury’s to follow in the retail part. ;-(
