Green Snow

Eire at 18:30 although I'm not sure if that is CET or GMT. I suspect CET and thus 5:30 pm on the island. The Beast from the North/Iceland or wherever is about to hit.

According to my weather App, it looks like it will be chilly for a few days. Hope for the grandchildren that school is cancelled and there is at least one metre of snow tomorrow morning. Dad would be happy. He excels under such circumstances and will be out and about in the lanes crashing through drifts and places no others would dare.

I had been in conversation (WhatsApp) with her earlier as their new PV system is now partly connected and producing electricity and even if the sun and weather are not ideal at this time of year, putting some power into the batteries. Still waiting for a meter or two to be connected and then the whole system will be doing its bit to reduce global warming on the island of Ireland.

Here the weather was amazing - full sun and for the first time probably since early December, the PV managed to fully load our 10kWh battery. January will not be good for our PV because of the snow. Can't have it all.
