Fat fish

As has been mentioned more than once, I'd quite like to get rid of the fish (guppies) now, but they keep reproducing.  

Last time I went to the buy fish food and plants at Scotsdales I asked if they would take some babies.  But they won't and advised that the number of fish would 'regulate itself' since the adults would eat the babies if there got to be too many!

It does seem a rather brutal way of going about things.

The brightly coloured male - with a red tail - keeps pursuing the less colourful females, even though, as you can see both are about to pop with more babies.  If anyone local would like some guppies, please contact me.

PS. I found them terribly hard to photograph.
